New pattern coming next week: little firefighter!

There haven’t been a lot of posts about this one, but I have been steadily working away at the pattern for my Little Firefighter sweater, and I wanted to let you know that it will be available for purchase next Tuesday (January 22nd):

Little firefighter

If you’re on my mailing list, you’ll be getting a coupon code when the pattern goes live. I’ve decided to add a bit of a twist to the coupon codes this time. Most folks will be getting a $2 discount code, but 12 people will be randomly selected to get a free copy of the pattern. Just a little extra thank-you to all of you who are interested enough in my work to sign up for the emails 🙂 I really do think you’re great. And now, onwards with the pattern details. If you’re thinking you’d like to make this piece, you might be interested in a few of the following:

Sizing
3 mo. (6 mo., 12 mo., 18 mo., 2 years, 4 years, 6 years, 8 years)
Finished chest circumference: 19 (19.75, 21.25, 22.75, 24.75, 27, 28.5, 30)”; 48 (50, 54, 58, 63, 69, 73, 76) cm
Gauge: 25 sts x 26 rows = 4” (10 cm) in both plain and patterned stst. Because stranded colorwork tends to pull knitting in, the recommended needle size for the body of the pullover is a US 7(4.5 mm), while the recommended needle size for sleeves is a US 6 (4 mm). Be sure to check your gauge and adjust needle sizes as needed to obtain the correct gauge in both stranded and single color stst.

Materials
Yarn: The pattern calls for four colors of yarn, MC, CC1, CC2, and CC3.
