My knitting these days is all about the slipped stitches:
The purple/grey version of this hat was coming out a little small (that’s what I get for skipping a gauge swatch), so I dug out this Harrisville New England Shetland from stash. This is a rugged and heavier fingering weight yarn, and that little bit of extra weight is just enough to make it work. And I am loving the green on green, it’s a nice break from the purple/greys/blues that seem to have been dominating my projects lately.
The beauty of this pattern is that for all the appearance of colorwork, many of the rows are just knitting in the main color, making it a fast moving and fairly mindless project.
