Fitz mitts in Jane Austen Knits!

This week I saw that the Jane Austen Knits magazine from Interweave is available for preorder and digital download. Which means I can finally blog about a pattern of mine that is featured in the magazine, Fitz fingerless mitts:

These are a fun pair of men’s mitts and would make a great gift (hint, hint to those of you looking for holiday knitting ideas!). They hit that elusive balance that men’s patterns seem to need: the mini cables keep the pattern interesting to knit, but still create a reasonably “simple” fabric that guys can wear without feeling too fussy.

I was thrilled to be included in this magazine and there are lots of other great projects in there as well. Check out the Jane Austen Knits page on Ravelry to see more of the patterns and designers featured! Not everything is up just yet but the number of patterns available for viewing is steadily growing.
